Looking back on this editorial, I'm a little surprised that I didn't receive any negative feedback. I feel like it was a topic that should have instigated some sort of debate, if not the labeling of my person with derogatory words.

Last week, former President Jimmy Carter met with the leaders of the Palestinian organization Hamas. This meeting has been met with much criticism because Hamas is considered to be a terrorist organization by many countries, including the United States.
